Classy restaurant with really amazing food. One of the best dinners I’ve ever had in Abu Dhabi. King Crab salad, Kale salad, Red tomato carpaccio, Sea bass carpaccio, Grilled Octopus, Fruit platter, Camomile tea and Orange juice. Very tasty and made with fresh food. Restaurant is very stylish, has many beautiful details and decorations. I would advise inside tables because of it but to see is a terrace as well. Novikov Abu Dhabi delivered exactly what it promised — a polished, high-end Mediterranean dining experience in an elegant setting at The Galleria, Al Maryah Island. The ambience was upscale yet relaxed, with live music and a lively evening energy that gradually transitioned from refined dining to a more vibrant, social atmosphere. The food was consistently strong across the board. The salads were fresh, vibrant, and well-executed — a refreshing start that set the tone for the meal. The appetizers were a clear highlight, with the kitchen showing finesse in balancing clean Mediterranean flavours with richness where needed. Presentation and ingredient quality stood out, making even simple dishes feel refined. For mains, the sea bass was particularly memorable — perfectly cooked, delicate, and clean in flavour, showcasing the kitchen’s strength with seafood. That said, a starch component alongside it would have elevated the dish and made it feel more complete as a main course. Desserts finished the experience on a high note. The lemon-based dessert was especially excellent — bright, zesty, and well-balanced, providing a refreshing contrast after a rich meal. Overall, Novikov Abu Dhabi was a sophisticated dining experience that excelled in starters, seafood, and desserts, with a few minor gaps in accompaniment balance. It was best appreciated as a place for a leisurely, multi-course evening where flavour, presentation, and atmosphere came together beautifully.

We had a wonderful dinner experience at this restaurant, and everything from the food to the atmosphere was truly enjoyable. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, making the evening even more memorable. What truly stood out, however, was our waitress, Bedsabit. She was absolutely amazing—attentive, warm, and incredibly kind throughout the entire evening. Her positive energy and genuine care made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Betsy is truly a star, and she played a big part in making our celebration feel extra special. Exceptional service like hers is what turns a great dinner into an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be coming back!

So starting from food taste is Average. Not very impressive but it’s fine. I got the Wagyu tacos, they’re good 7/10. The cheese wheel pasta was 6/10 there is too much black pepper in the sauce! The burrata was delicious but it was served with few cherry tomatoes i was expecting it to be served as a salad but it’s fine. What disappointed me the experience it self! Its a fine dining experience and people come for the vibes and for the special service. Service was the worst for me. I was expecting the waiter to serve food but unfortunately he didn’t. We served it by ourselves. And i was expecting to get us smth to hang our bags so i was struggling where to put my bag since the table was too small. And every staff i met there wasn’t very welcoming the treatment was average nothing special. No one passed by to check if everything is fine or not. I won’t come again for food maybe i might come for dessert outdoors only. :)

I have to confess I always hunt for new fine dining restaurants to try so I was excited when a friend told me about Novikov. I have to say I fell in love with the place! It is a Pescaterian's heaven with so many options to choose from. The salmoj tartar was delicious and so was the seabream. I likes the stylish decor of the place, it's perfect if you're a photo lover like me.
